Oh my!
Hello everyone,

We have so much going on at Reclaimed this summer that we needed a second newsletter this month! Check out some of the exciting classes and events we have coming up, and come visit us during our new extended hours!

Join us next week for our first Maker’s Market!

Reclaimed is hosting our first ever Maker’s Market on Thursday, June 27th from 4:00-8:00pm in our driveway at 169 Main St. in Poultney

The Market will showcase makers, artists, and craftspeople from Poultney and beyond! We hope that the Market can be an opportunity for folks to gather in community and support local artisans  while enjoying their creations, demonstrations, live music, and delicious food.

In an effort to better serve the community, Reclaimed will now be open 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm on weekdays. We hope this will allow folks to utilize our facilities after work.

We are also very excited to announce that Reclaimed will now be open on Saturdays from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. This time will be supervised by Board Member and woodworker, Alex Roderick.

New hours effective Monday, June 17th

Leadership Spotlight

This month, we’d like to clear up some confusion and let you know who you’ve been communicating with.

  • Danny Lang, the founder and face of Reclaimed is still at the heart of our organization. We are very excited to announce that we officially hired Danny as our Executive Director in November 2023. Danny has had a lot of responsibilities at Reclaimed in recent years, too many for one person! As part of restructuring our organization, he has recently been able to step down as President of the Board in order to focus on his roles as the Executive Director, Chair of the Facilities Committee and teacher.

  • John Burfeindt is the new President and Treasurer of our Board! John has been taking financial and administrative duties like taxes, insurance, and other “back-office” tasks off of Danny’s plate. John is also working on forming new business relationships around town and making our presence better known in the community.

  • Iana Dobreva is the new Secretary of our Board and Chair of the Events and Marketing Committee. She is responsible for the new website, scheduling classes and events, posting on Front Porch Forum, and has been writing the newsletter.

Next month, we will introduce you to the rest of our Board! But you can take a peek now at reclaimedvt.org/about
