Makers Market a Success!
(This newsletter was sent on July 3rd, 2024)
Hello everyone,
Our first Makers Market went really well! Join us for the next one on July 25th.
We hosted our first Makers Market at Reclaimed on Thursday, June 27th, and despite the windy conditions, we were met with positive feedback from vendors and attendees alike.
Special thanks to Carl Anton Music, Victoria’s Authentic Mexican Cuisine, and Vermont Seoul Food for the great music and delicious food.
Following the success of our first event, we will be hosting another Makers Market on Thursday, July 25th from 4:00-8:00pm.
If you are interested in vending at the July Market, please reach out to scheduling@reclaimedvt.org. The sooner the better!

Funny story…
This month, we dealt with an unexpected situation at the Makerspace. It was a normal afternoon when we started to hear buzzing in the shop, and noticed a few bees had made their way in. Come to find out, a colony of honey bees had decided to start making their home in our walls.
Lucky for us, we knew just the right person to help! The next day, Reclaimed teacher and committee member Aja Ewing was able to help Danny smoke, remove, and rehome the bees. We greatly appreciate her expertise and are so lucky to have a team with a diverse set of skills that we can rely on in unexpected situations. Thank you Aja!
Don’t forget, Reclaimed has new operating hours!
Visit us weekdays* from 12:00 pm -7:00 pm or Saturday from 11:00 am -2:00 pm
*Wednesdays we close at 6:00 pm for open mic night at the Poultney Pub, hosted by our very own Danny Lang. Go check it out!
