Our Mission

At Reclaimed, our mission is to provide a community space that fosters educational and creative opportunities, while instilling sustainable practices for generations to come.

As the ideological successor to Green Mountain College’s Renewable Energy & Ecological Design (REED) program, we approach all of our work and programming through the lens of sustainability. We actively seek out methods that will divert from local waste streams and strive to teach sustainable practices in a variety of trades and crafts.

Reclaimed offers the community a space to build trade skills and knowledge while discovering creative interests. We support the area’s artisans, craftspeople, entrepreneurs, and youth by providing space, resources, and guidance without the high costs that often serve as a barrier to those seeking to use them.
