There are a number of ways to get involved at the Makerspace! From volunteering, taking classes, and becoming a member, to teaching, serving on a committee, or on the Board of Directors, there’s something for everyone!
Become a Member
REclaimED Members get full access to use all of our facilities including the wood shop, metal shop, and fiber studio.
Members also receive discounted rates on materials, and priority access to vend at our upcoming Maker Markets.
Anyone using either shop for the first time is required to take a free safety course before they are able to use any tools.

There are a number of ways to volunteer at Reclaimed, if you’re interested in upcoming volunteer opportunities, email scheduling@reclaimedvt.org
Please feel free to share any special skills you have to offer, or if you have any preferences for types of volunteer work.
We have a lot of cleaning to do, as well as some heavy lifting, yardwork, construction, and building repair. We also welcome qualified professionals that are willing to lend their expertise and services in whatever ways they have to offer.

Teach a Class
We are always interested in new teachers and different crafts.

We are currently seeking welding and metalwork teachers in particular. If you or someone you know is a welder, blacksmith, silversmith, or other-smith, who wants to teach, we’d love to hear from you.
If you’re not a metal worker, we’d still love to hear from you too.

Join a Committee
Joining a committee is a great opportunity to help further our mission to provide Poultney with the best community space we can offer.
Committees are also a great way to have your voice heard in decision making at Reclaimed.

Board of Directors
The Reclaimed Board of Directors is currently seeking one additional member.
The ideal candidate is a good communicator, creative problem solver, and dedicated community member. We are looking for someone with good leadership skills who takes initiative and leads by example. Folks with skills in management, technology, finances or fundraising are strongly encouraged to reach out.
