Board of Directors

Alex was born and raised in Truro Cape Cod and has lived on Lake Bomoseen for about 10 years. 

After graduating from the University of Hartford with a BA in sociology, Alex got into woodworking by helping out the director of a primitive skills school (bush craft) in Oregon making skin on frame kayaks. Alex then completed a two year apprenticeship learning how to build and sail traditional wooden boats at the Apprenticeshop in Rockland Maine. He worked on yachts up and down the N.E. coast, then moved to Vermont and worked for a custom window and door company. 

Alex has spent the last two years teaching kids snowboarding at Pico/Killington.
