Intro to Weaving

Class Description

This class will introduce you to the basics of weaving, from warping a loom to finishing a project.

We will use cardboard to model a few different kinds of looms and explore their different uses. Then, we will weave small pieces on our cardboard looms in order to see the process start to finish.

There will likely be time at the end of class to start a larger piece, like a coaster or a pouch, and a session can be added to the class if folks would like to continue their projects together.

Crochet hooks and tapestry needles are helpful to bring if you have them.
