Class Description
In this class, we will cover the fundamentals of drawing including line, form, and value.
We will build a foundation of observation skills to strengthen the hand-eye connection so we can better translate what we see onto paper.
We will also learn shading techniques in pencil and practice by drawing simple objects from life.

Drawing 2 - Drawing from Life (Three Parts: May 27, 29, June 3) will build on these skills with a multi-day still life project.

Instructor Bio
Iana Dobreva (she/her) has over 20 years of experience in drawing. Self taught from a young age with the help of her mom, Iana eventually studied drawing in an academic environment as a teenager through the Ringling College of Art and Design summer programs. She later attended Carnegie Mellon University, where she earned a degree in Drama, focusing on designing for the stage and continuing her education in drawing.
