Copper Jewelry Smithing

Class Description

In this course, you will learn the basics of working with copper. Using a piece of reclaimed copper pipe you will craft a bracelet, bangle, or set of earrings. You will leave the class with your own piece of copper jewelry and the knowledge to continue practicing and creating in copper.

Please register at least 24 hours in advance by emailing danny@reclaimedvt.org, the sooner the better! Class fee is collected the day of the class. 

Ages 8+, anyone under 12 must be accompanied by adult

Instructor Bio

Danny Lang (he/him) is the Founder and Executive Director of Reclaimed! He is also a talented woodworker and an all around skilled Maker. 

He moved around from Florida to Georgia, back to Florida then to the Catskills of New York State, where his family hails from. From there, Danny ended up at Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont. He earned a degree in Renewable Energy and Ecological Design with a concentration in Art and Business. After the closing of Green Mountain College, Danny saw the importance of continuing the mission of the GMC REED program, and so “REclaimED” was born. 

Danny now lives in the historic area of East Poultney and teaches people how to make their ideas become reality in a variety of different materials and processes at Reclaimed.
